Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Administer, lead and drive adherence to HR, compensation and benefits related processes including the timely processing of payroll, administration of employee benefits and addressing of employee grievances.
Provide efficient system administration of all HR systems by effectively maintaining Human Resource Systems and protecting data quality for Nama Holding and the Group. This role is also responsible for providing front-end support for HR systems including monitoring data and user integrity and assisting in processing requirements. Providing add-hoc reports to the Managment as per request.
Understand, implement and drive adherence to the the Compensation and Benefits policies and procedures, benefits, eligibility criteria and guidelines on compliance.
Oversee the timely payment of salaries, reimbursements and other payments to employees as per policies and eligibility criteria.
Address employee complaints/queires related to payroll in a timely, effective and transparent manner.
Analyze employee turnover data and provide recommendations to management to continuously enhance staff retention.
Carry out the employee exit process by processing full and final settlement.
Maintain records of salary fitment of all employees including new joiners as per compensation guidelines.
Oversee full and final settlement process during employee exit.
Ensure employee records are maintained accurately and updated in compliance with Omani Labor Laws.
Stay updated about Oman's legal and employer related regulations and local market practices related to compensation and benefits.
Identify and plan for expenses during the year in alignment with business objectives and priorities.
Provide inputs in finalizing the budget for the department/section and monitor budget continuously.
Highlight and prepare a business case for deviations from budget/expenditures on unplanned activities.
Communicate the overall business plan and focus areas for the business and clarify the manner in which the team will contribute to overall business objectives; translate the business plan into team/departmental objectives.
Delegate responsibilities and tasks to team members with clear timelines and expectations on quality; make available the requisite resources to perform the job.
Review performance in an objective, fair, and transparent manner and hold people accountable for performance; create development plans in line with employee aspirations and company objectives.
Plan and structure the activities of the HR in order to achieve the overall objectives of the department
Assist in the implementation and management of performance appraisal processes.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Provide guidance and support to managers in setting goals, conducting evaluations, and developing performance improvement plans
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
Supervise the documents preparation pertaining to Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), in a timely manner, as applicable to the role
Follow up with IT/System support to ensure timely implementation of system software upgrades and releases.
Evaluate training effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement
Identify training needs and assist in the development and delivery of training programs.
Ensure all audit routines relevant to HR systems and procedures are effectively implemented and maintained by review all weekly system audit and follow up with respective departments to ensure timely implementation of audit recommendations.
Identify the business need for establishing a process and provide inputs in defining and documenting it; assign accountabilities within the team for managing the process.
Adhere to internal processes and encourage adherence from team members; recognize the need for modifications to existing processes and share them with appropriate teams.
Treat IT security with the utmost importance and adhere to ISO standards and aspects on IT security.
Understand the HSE standards of the company and adhere to them at all times.
Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in HR or related.
Professional Experience
+5 years of relevant experience
- Prefer knowledge using ORACLE system.
