Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead the HR function by applying Jotun s Leadership tools to coach, guide, and develop employees, ensuring a competent, engaged, and future-ready workforce.
  • Oversee all HR activities across the company, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, mobility, labour law/relations, organisational design, and leadership development.
  • Implement and maintain HR policies and processes, ensuring alignment with Group and Regional standards while adapting local policies to comply with legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive HR strategy and ensure initiatives support and enhance overall business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, governmental, and HSEQ requirements across HR practices.
  • Shape the company culture by ensuring HR practices are strategically aligned, fit-for-purpose, and supportive of long-term organisational development.

What we look for

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 5+ years of independent responsibility in a strategic HR role.
  • Experience managing HR functions across African and/or emerging markets, with willingness to travel regionally.
  • Proven track record in developing, localizing, and implementing HR policies aligned with local regulations.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and/or French is an added advantage.
