Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary
As a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer, you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. You will support the implementation of safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and monitor compliance with HSE regulations. This role provides hands-on experience in workplace safety management and contributes to building a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
This role will be based in a wind turbine manufacturing environment, requiring close attention to both mechanical handling and chemical safety. In addition to international HSE standards, the role also ensures compliance with relevant Omani occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, regulations, and industry standards.
- Support the development and delivery of safety training programs.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports.
- Promote awareness of safe work practices and environmental responsibility.
- Maintain HSE documentation and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
- Assist in emergency preparedness planning and drills.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety.
- Ensure compliance with both international standards and Omani regulatory requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree or higher diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Recent graduate or up to 3 years of internship/work experience in HSE.
- Must be under thirty-five (35) years of age.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methods and incident investigation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
