Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Parsons is looking for a proactive HSE Coordinator (Saudi National) with 2 years of relevant experience to support health, safety, and environmental management on a large-scale airport/airfield development project. The role requires knowledge of aviation construction HSE standards, compliance monitoring, and reporting.
The HSE Coordinator will support the implementation of safety programs, audits, and training, ensuring a safe working environment for all project personnel while meeting client and regulatory requirements.
What You ll Be Doing:
- Assist in the implementation of HSE management systems across the project.
- Monitor compliance with airport safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
- Support risk assessments, method statements, and safe work procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Prepare HSE reports, incident reports, and audit findings for project leadership.
- Track HSE KPIs and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Assist in delivering safety inductions and toolbox talks.
- Promote safety awareness programs for staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Support investigation of incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts.
- Maintain records and assist in follow-up actions.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and the client on HSE matters.
- Support integration of HSE standards into construction and operational activities.
What Required Skills You ll Bring:
- Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in HSE roles on construction or infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to airport/aviation project environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with HSE management systems, ISO 45001, and local regulations.
- Strong observational, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
- Experience with safety audits, inspections, and HSE reporting in aviation projects.
