Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include:
- Working collaboratively with the entire management team of the business unit and all cross-functional departments
- Actively participate in the University Library's Executive Committee
- Management of a Health & Safety Manager and an Industrial and Environmental Risk Manager for the Business Unit
Managing the network of HSE managers for the BU's entities:
- Sharing lessons learned from accidents and best practices
- Accident monitoring and challenging of cause analyses and associated action plans
- Managing the annual HSE commitment with the Group
Assisting and monitoring the entities within the library:
- Monitoring the proper deployment and application of SUEZ HSE rules
- Monitoring of action plans
- Support based on needs
- Supporting the integration of new entities within the University Library
- Facilitating HSE training sessions
- Conduct audits
- Actively participate in the SUEZ Group's HSE Management Committee
You will also be required to provide support to the MECA (Middle East - Central Asia) BU, not on operational aspects, but on cross-functional group aspects such as training and audits for example.
As a field-oriented, operational, and communicative individual, you will have a strong impact on the BU's operations. You have a practical mindset and are driven by achieving objectives to protect people, sites, and the environment.
The position may be based in Casablanca with travel to the different countries where we operate.
Desired Candidate Profile
With a higher education qualification such as an Engineering degree or Master 2, you have a proven track record of at least 10 years in HSE risk management.
You know how to work in a multicultural environment in French and English.
