Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Ensure implementation of HSE policies and procedures at the project site.

  2. Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance in accordance with TAQA standards.

  3. Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.

  4. Ensure safe working practices during substation construction, testing, and commissioning activities.

  5. Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, and incident records.

  6. Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs for site personnel.

  7. Coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with local regulations and client HSE

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering or NEBOSH / IOSH certified.

  2. Minimum 2–8 years of HSE experience, preferably in substation or power projects.

  3. Experience working on TAQA / TRANSCO / ADDC / Utility projects will be an advantage.

  4. Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and safety standards.

  5. Good communication and reporting skills.
