Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as the focal point for all SH&E matters, providing expert guidance to project teams and management.

  • Develop and implement SH&E strategies, policies, and procedures in line with company standards and UAE regulations.

  • Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and drive continuous improvement.

  • Lead incident and accident investigations, ensuring effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate SH&E requirements into project delivery.

  • Supervise and mentor junior SH&E personnel, ensuring high standards of performance.

  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international standards, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

  • Deliver SH&E training and awareness programs across project teams.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management.

  • Support emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives.

  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and represent the organization on SH&E-related matters.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 12 years of professional SH&E experience (supported by experience letters).

  • Level 6 qualification in Occupational Safety and Health (or equivalent).

  • ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification.

  • Preferably registered with Abu Dhabi OSHAD.
