Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Safety Policies: Establish safety protocols and policies that comply with local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Conduct Risk Assessments: Regularly assess workplace risks and hazards, identifying areas of potential danger and implementing control measures to mitigate risks.
Ensure Compliance with Regulations: Monitor the organization’s adherence to health, safety, and environmental laws and standards.
Safety Inspections and Audits: Perform regular inspections and audits of the workplace to ensure safety measures are in place and functioning effectively.
Accident and Incident Investigation: Investigate any accidents or incidents, analyze root causes, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
Provide Training and Education: Train employees on proper safety practices, equipment usage, emergency procedures, and how to maintain a safe work environment.
Emergency Preparedness and Response: Develop and oversee emergency response plans, ensuring that the organization is prepared for any potential hazards or emergencies.
Maintain Safety Records: Keep detailed records of safety incidents, audits, risk assessments, and employee safety training.
Promote a Safety Culture: Encourage a strong safety culture within the organization by promoting awareness and active participation in safety programs.
Report to Management: Provide regular reports to management on HSE performance, including updates on incidents, improvements, and areas of concern.
