Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies and procedures in alignment with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits across all operational sites, including remote rigs and transportation hubs.
- Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future risks.
- Deliver HSE training and awareness programs to employees, contractors, and drivers to ensure compliance and promote a safety-first culture.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, preparing detailed documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure safe handling and transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
- Ensure all equipment, vehicles, and facilities meet safety standards and are regularly inspected and maintained.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of required permits, reports, and documentation.
- Stay updated on evolving HSE regulations and best practices, integrating them into company policies and procedures.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety, environmental stewardship, and operational efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 7 years of experience in HSE engineering, preferably within the heavy transportation, logistics, or oil and gas sectors.
- Proven track record in developing and implementing HSE management systems and policies.
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to engage diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in preparing HSE reports, documentation, and compliance submissions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel to remote sites and work in field conditions as required.
- Commitment to fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
