Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards across roads and infrastructure projects. Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with UAE regulations. Prepare, review, and implement Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS). Manage Permit to Work (PTW) systems and ensure adherence on site. Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training for site personnel. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective action plans. Ensure compliance with local authority requirements (RTA, Dubai Municipality, etc.). Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to maintain a safe working environment. Monitor HSE performance and report KPIs to management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory). NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory). Minimum 4–5 years of HSE experience in Dubai, specifically on Roads / Infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of UAE HSE laws, regulations, and best practices. Hands-on experience with: Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) Incident investigation & reporting Site inspections, audits & toolbox talks Permit to Work (PTW) systems Experience working with main contractors on large-scale roads projects. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities. Immediate or short notice period preferred.
