Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
To ensure the implementation and compliance of health, safety, and environmental standards across construction worksites, in line with municipality regulations and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards at site.
Ensure compliance with local authority and municipality safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
Identify hazards and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe work practices.
Prepare and maintain HSE reports and documentation.
Support incident investigations and ensure proper reporting.
Liaise with consultants and regulatory bodies when required.
Ensure all workers follow safety protocols and use PPE properly.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Architecture, Physics, Chemistry, or any relevant science discipline), or as required by the project.
Degree must be from a university accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education (UAE or equivalent).
Minimum 8 years of specialized experience in construction worksites.
Certifications
Valid HSE certification issued by an approved/accredited safety consultant organization for construction worksites.
Must meet Municipality approval requirements.
Level 6 Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety.
