Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSE Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing daily health, safety, and environmental practices across the facility, ensuring full compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. This role plays a vital part in fostering a safe and sustainable workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Monitoring & Inspections

- Conduct routine and thorough safety inspections across all operational areas (production, storage, maintenance) to identify hazards and unsafe conditions.

- Ensure all employees and contractors adhere to proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as helmets, safety footwear, and goggles.

2. Incident Response & Investigation

- Respond swiftly to emergencies, accidents, or workplace injuries, providing initial support and reporting.

- Document and report all incidents, near misses, and injuries, and assist in preliminary investigations to determine root causes and recommend preventive actions.

3. Awareness & Training

- Deliver daily safety briefings before shift start.

- Support the delivery of safety orientation and basic HSE training for new employees, covering general safety protocols and emergency procedures.

4. Systems & Equipment Management

- Inspect and maintain emergency response tools including fire extinguishers, first aid kits, and emergency exits to ensure functionality.

- Monitor waste disposal and handling of hazardous materials in line with the company's environmental compliance policies.
