Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement site-specific HSE plans, procedures, and risk assessments tailored for road or water/waste projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and site visits to identify hazards, unsafe practices, and non-compliance issues, providing immediate corrective actions and detailed reports.
  • Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis, to determine the underlying causes of incidents and implement preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
  • Provide expert HSE advice and guidance to project teams, contractors, and subcontractors, promoting a proactive safety culture and ensuring effective communication.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in HSE roles within the road construction or water/wastewater industry.

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HSE management systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations.
