Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Dice Group is seeking a qualified and proactive Occupational Health & Safety Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring workplace safety, compliance with health regulations, and promoting a safe working environment across all company operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain health & safety policies and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments and workplace inspections
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Provide safety training and awareness programs for employees
- Monitor compliance with local and international safety regulations
- Investigate incidents and prepare reports
- Collaborate with management to improve safety performance
Desired Candidate Profile
???? Bachelor s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related fieldbr>???? 2 4 years of experience in occupational health & safety, preferably in manufacturing or garment/clothing factories br>???? Strong knowledge of safety regulations, hazard prevention, and risk managementbr>???? Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skillsbr>???? Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
- Minimum of 2 years and up to 7 years of experience in HSE roles within garment manufacturing or a related industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to the textile and apparel sector.
- Proven experience conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective HSE training programs for diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with staff at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to hazard identification and mitigation.
- Familiarity with emergency response planning and crisis management in a manufacturing context.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate HSE records and reports.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Willingness to be onsite (on-premises) and actively involved in daily manufacturing operations.
