HSE Manager - Data Centers

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Health Safety and Environment Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to lead and oversee all HSE programs and compliance activities on a mission critical Data Center, ensuring a safe, sustainable, and regulatory-compliant operational environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE management systems in alignment with client, and regulatory requirements.

• Ensure full compliance with local Saudi regulations, international standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001), and corporate HSE procedures.

• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and job safety analyses for all data center operations, maintenance, and construction activities.

• Manage incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action tracking.

• Serve as the primary HSE point of contact for client representatives, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

• Oversee contractor HSE performance, including onboarding, audits, and compliance verification.

• Develop and deliver HSE training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns for employees and contractors.br>Perform regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.

• Monitor and report on key HSE performance metrics, trends, and compliance status to senior management.

• Lead emergency preparedness and response planning, including drills for fire, electrical, and critical facility scenarios.

• Drive environmental sustainability initiatives, including waste management, energy efficiency awareness, and environmental compliance.br>Support commissioning, operations, and maintenance teams with safe work practices in a mission-critical data center environment.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.

• Minimum 10+ years of HSE experience, with at least 5 years in mission-critical facilities (data centers, utilities, or similar).

• Strong knowledge of Saudi HSE regulations and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

• Proven experience managing HSE programs in construction and/or operational environments.

• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH IGC/Diploma, IOSH, or equivalent.br>Demonstrated experience in incident investigation and risk management.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-availability environment with strict safety requirements

br> What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience working in Tier III/IV data centers or hyperscale environments.br>Familiarity with electrical safety, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and critical infrastructure risk controls.

• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and ESG reporting practices.

• Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 45001 and/or ISO 14001.

• Strong analytical and reporting skills using HSE management systems and dashboards.

• Experience working with multinational teams and high-profile clients such as Equinix.

• Ability to influence safety culture and drive behavioral-based safety programs.
