Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies and procedures tailored to the water treatment industry.
  • Lead regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify, evaluate, and mitigate workplace hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards relevant to water treatment operations.
  • Conduct HSE training sessions and workshops for staff at all levels, fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Coordinate emergency response planning, including drills and preparedness activities.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, auditors, and external stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HSE performance and reduce environmental impact.
  • Supervise and mentor HSE team members, ensuring professional development and high performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in HSE management, with a focus on the water treatment industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.
  • Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to engage staff at all levels.
