Roles & Responsibilities

HSE Manager is required for a multinational PMC company.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Project HSE Plan tailored to high-rise construction environments.
  • Oversee the day-to-day safety operations across all construction zones and monitor contractor compliance.
  • Review and approve contractor safety management systems, risk assessments, and method statements.
  • Ensure integration of HSE into logistics, lifting plans, temporary works, and other construction operations.
  • Lead incident investigations and ensure proper documentation and reporting.
  • Coordinate site emergency response (must follow the internal report protocol).
  • Prepare weekly and monthly HSE performance reports for internal and client review.
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and government authorities on all HSE matters.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the construction and engineering sector preferred in hotel projects.
  • Experience in PM/CM and/or construction site experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, safety codes, and international safety standards (e.g., ISO 45001, OSHA).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills (Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project, and procurement management systems (e.g., Aconex, SAP, Oracle).
  • Certified HSE professional (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA).
  • Exposure to Egyptian or Middle East regulatory environments.
