Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Designs and directs a program to reduce injuries through safety-training, hazard identification, planned inspections (i.e first-aid care, emergency and proper job instructions, and protective equipment).

  • Assists management in the annual inspection of workplaces to assure safe and healthful conditions for workers.
  • Carry out inspections & audits, analyze the results, and manage the corrective actions.
  • Manage the incident reporting, investigation, and analysis program.
  • Analyzing & monitoring trends regarding incidents, inspections, audits, and corrective measures while also keeping the management team informed.
  • Maintain certifications for both ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001.
  • Report problems with the food safety management system to the food safety team.
  • Follow-up and implement environmental protection water resulting from manufacturing and emissions from the various production and plants and solid waste and is committed to the implementation of all legal requirements and environmental legislation, and local and international specifications such as ISO and other operations process pollution system.
  • Plan and manage training, instruction, and guidance to all subordinate supervisory and other employees to ensure their knowledge of proper equipment and use of accepted work processes and standards.
  • Contributes and selects the appropriate sources of supply safety equipment and means of environmental protection and fire extinguishing tools through close cooperation with the relevant departments of directors of the company.
  • Creates and preservation of documents and the activities of the special safety records and occupational health procedures and ensure maintain updated is also responsible for the inspection of the tools and fire extinguishing equipment and protection of the environment on a regular basis and regularly and always ensure their validity.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years and maximum of 7 years of progressive experience in HSE management, preferably within the Plastics, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing HSE policies and procedures in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of local, national, and international HSE regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
  • Proficiency in preparing HSE reports and presenting to senior management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
