Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Preparing Site HSE plans

Making regular site inspections

Planning safe working practices and making necessary

changes

Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current

health and safety legislation

Ensuring that equipment is installed correctly/safely

Preparing reports, bulletins and newsletters

Identifying potential hazards, undertaking risk

assessments, determining ways of reducing risks

Liaising with relevant authorities

Organising/attending health and safety meetings

Safely handling hazardous substances

Compiling statistics

Making recommendations following accidents/incidents

Making presentations to groups of employees/managers.

Providing health and safety training courses for

employees and managers

Investigating/recording incidents, accidents, complaints

and cases of ill health

Conducting internal HSE audits

Preparing internal health and safety strategies

Conducting HSE Awareness/Motivational programs

Drawing-up safe operational procedures

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelors degree in any stream

NEBOSH IGC qualification

8-10 year of experience in construction industry

Good communication skills

Good public speaking skills

Leadership skills

Problem solving skills
