Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE management systems in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to identify hazards and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Facilitate training sessions to enhance employee awareness and adherence to health and safety procedures.
- Prepare reports on safety performance and incidents, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and recommend preventative measures.
- Engage with stakeholders to promote HSE initiatives and maintain open lines of communication regarding safety objectives.
- Keep abreast of new developments in HSE legislation, standards, and practices relevant to the construction industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in health, safety, and environmental management, with a focus on construction projects.
- Proficient knowledge of HSE regulations, industry best practices, and safety management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
