3. RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

3.1. Primary Functions

• Lead the development and implementation of digital health, safety and environment strategy
• Oversee contractor compliance with standard and regulations
• Ensure through investigation of incidents accident and near misses, verify root cause analysis and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
• Manage the distribution of tasks / visits across the H&S inspectors and verify that all ongoing activities are monitored by the deployed safety staff.
• Verify the implementation of safety policies, procedures and programs to ensure compliance.
• Conducting risk assessment for ongoing activities
• Chair the safety awareness sessions, STBTs.
• Develop Job hazard analysis for the ongoing activities.
• Managing safety training
• Create awareness sessions related to the preventive measures that should be considered to prevent the occurrence of H&S accidents.

3.3. Technical Expertise

Ability to evaluate safety protocols, regulations as per international standards and industry practices.
