Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified HSE Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, and promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and procedures on-site.
Conduct daily site safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Identify hazards and ensure proper risk assessments and control measures are in place.
Ensure workers follow safety rules, PPE requirements, and safe work practices.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and safety inductions for workers and staff.
Prepare and maintain HSE reports, incident reports, and safety records.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with local authority safety regulations and company policies.
Monitor emergency procedures and participate in emergency response planning.
Coordinate with project teams to improve safety awareness and performance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Required Airport Project experience
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience as an HSE Officer in construction or engineering projects.
Professional certification such as:
NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory in most projects)
IOSH (preferred)
First Aid Certification (preferred)
Good knowledge of safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk management.
Experience conducting safety inspections and incident investigations.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Ability to enforce safety standards on-site.
