Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a qualified HSE Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at the Emirates Steel project site in Mussafah. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, implementing safety policies, and ensuring workers follow all safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies on site.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and hazard identification.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all workers.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings regularly.
- Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Ensure compliance with Emirates Steel safety standards and procedures.
- Maintain proper safety documentation and reports.
- Coordinate with site management to ensure a safe work environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
NEBOSH Certification (Mandatory)
Minimum 3 years of experience as an HSE Officer in industrial, construction, or steel plant projects.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
Good communication and reporting skills.
