• Conducting thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards on construction sites and providing feedback to the Senior Civil Engineer on implementing effective control measures after review and approval from the Senior Civil Engineer.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations specific to the construction industry as per the UAE Law. Bringing to attention to the Senior Civil Engineer and/or Human Resources Department on any employees violating the regulations.
• Providing comprehensive safety training to technicians, ensuring that all employees are equipped with the knowledge to perform their tasks safely.
• Ensuring to regularly inspecting construction sites to monitor safety compliance, identify potential risks, and address any safety concerns promptly to the Engineer’s assigned site, Foreman and/or Senior Civil Engineer.
• Developing and implementing emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and first aid protocols to ensure a swift and coordinated response in case of accidents or emergencies.
• Conducting safety awareness programs on monthly and/or quarterly basis to the existing and especially to the new joiners in the company.
• Conducting safety briefings at the beginning of each workday to highlight potential hazards, discuss safety measures, and reinforce the importance of adherence to safety protocols to the Engineers, Foremen, and Technicians.
• Managing the documentations of detailed records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions to ensure regulatory compliance and provide a comprehensive overview of the site’s safety performance and uploading in a designated Dropbox folder.
• Coordinating & Collaborating with Civil and MEP Engineers team, and other departments to integrate safety considerations into project/service planning and execution.
• Ensuring to enhance a safety work environment leading to an increase productivity, improved morale, and higher job satisfaction among technicians working on site.
• Ensuring enough adequate protocols are followed to prevent accidents and injuries during pre & post projects or services results in cost savings relating to medical expenses, workers’ compensation, and potential legal fees.
• Ensuring to follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as set by the Company.

• Experience in Construction Field.

Requirement:

• At least minimum 5-6 years of UAE experience in construction industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a similar discipline & mandatory holder of UAE Govt authorized HSE certificate.
• Good communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• UAE experience is essential to know and understand the Laws and Legislation regarding Health and Safety.
• Driving License is mandatory.
