Assist Farm Management in the introduction and application of company s HSE policies and procedures.

Review the HSE policies and procedures of the company, ensure their conformity with national, industry standards and the organisation s compliance requirements, propose revisions if required.

Ensure compliance to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

Plan, coordinate and administer all assigned HSE activities for the defined areas and facilities. Supervise and monitor work carried out by out sourced teams and ensure effective implementation of the HSE Management System and programs including incentive programs, awards and promotion campaigns.

Works closely with Operation Teams to ensure safe and environmentally responsible operations at all times.

Monitor adherence to safe work systems and HSE compliance at worksites by advising, assisting and coaching worksite personnel in carrying out their activities in full compliance with policies, procedures, work instructions, method statements, etc.

Undertake inspection tours to ensure implementation of, and compliance with, the standards set out in the safety guidelines both at the offices and on-site operations.

Maintain and monitor daily logs, files and databases recording all health, safety & environmental activities including incidents, near misses, investigations, follow-up actions, etc. to support timely information availability.

Assist in planning and implementing emergency procedures and preparedness drills
