Key Roles & Responsibilities

Site Safety Management

• Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and safety plans across the project site.
• Conduct daily site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits to identify hazards.
• Monitor work practices, tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly safety reports to HSE Manager and Project Manager.
  

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with KSA labor laws, civil defense regulations, and client-specific HSE requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local statutory regulations and international safety standards (OSHA, ISO 45001).
• Coordinate with government authorities, clients, and consultants for safety inspections and approvals.
  

Training & Awareness

• Conduct safety induction programs for new hires, subcontractors, and visitors.
• Organize toolbox talks, safety drills, and awareness campaigns to promote safe work culture.
• Ensure all personnel are trained in emergency procedures, PPE usage, and hazard reporting.
  

Incident Management & Investigation

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports with root cause analysis and recommendations.
• Track corrective and preventive actions and ensure timely closure.
• Maintain records of safety incidents, NCRs, and site inspections.
  

Emergency Preparedness

• Develop and maintain emergency response plans, evacuation procedures, and fire drills.
• Coordinate with fire fighting teams, first aid responders, and security for emergency readiness.
  

Coordination & Reporting

• Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Contractors, and QA/QC teams to integrate safety with execution.
• Monitor subcontractors safety compliance and provide guidance where needed.
• Support management in safety performance review and improvement plans.
