Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Implement, monitor, and enforce HSE policies and procedures across retail outlets and warehouse operations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments for warehouses, stockrooms, loading/unloading areas, and retail floors.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, local authority requirements, and company safety standards.
  • Identify potential hazards related to material handling, racking systems, forklifts, pallet movement, and storage operations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor safe loading and unloading practices, ensuring proper use of PPE and handling equipment.
  • Oversee fire safety systems, emergency exits, fire drills, and evacuation plans for warehouses and retail locations.
  • Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare incident reports and implement preventive measures.
  • Conduct HSE induction, toolbox talks, and safety training for warehouse staff, drivers, and retail employees.
  • Coordinate with warehouse managers, store managers, and operations teams to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain HSE documentation, permits, inspection records, and statutory compliance reports.
  • Support emergency response procedures and ensure readiness at all operational locations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Preferably knowledge of HSE practices in retail and warehouse environments
  • Experience in warehouse safety, logistics, and material handling operations
  • Familiarity with forklift safety, racking inspections, and fire safety systems
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to conduct training and safety awareness programs
