Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace, ensuring proactive measures are implemented to mitigate risks.
- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures, tailoring them to specific operations and regulatory requirements.
- Lead safety training sessions and workshops, ensuring that all employees are well-versed in safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Perform regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field, providing a strong theoretical foundation.
Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA, demonstrating commitment to safety excellence and expertise in the field.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in a safety role within a specific industry, showcasing practical knowledge and application.
Experience in high-risk environments such as construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas, ensuring familiarity with industry-specific hazards.
Work with TRAKHEES Authority will be added advantage
