Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Health & Safety Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) strategies across major construction projects. The role ensures full compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company policies while driving a strong safety culture across multiple sites and project teams.

Key Accountabilities

The position involves:

  • Lead the development and implementation of project-wide HSE plans and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory bodies and international standards (e.g., ISO 45001).
  • Oversee risk assessments, hazard identification, and mitigation strategies across all project phases.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety walkthroughs.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Lead HSE reporting, dashboards, and KPIs for senior management.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to enforce safety standards.
  • Deliver safety training programs and toolbox talks across sites.
  • Ensure safety compliance in high-risk activities (lifting, excavation, working at height, etc.).
  • Promote a proactive safety culture across all project stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are Looking for: br>

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in HSE, with at least 5 years in senior/project management roles.
  • Professional HSE certifications (NEBOSH IGC/IDIP, OSHA, IOSH; additional certifications are a plus).
  • Proven experience in residential and hospitality construction projects (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of international HSE standards and construction safety practices.
  • Experience managing multi-site or large-scale projects.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage in GCC roles).
