Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
- Coordinate and deliver HSE training programs for employees to promote awareness and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and corrective actions for regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE best practices into daily operations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management and pollution prevention.
- Prepare and submit required HSE documentation and reports to regulatory agencies as needed.
- Participate in emergency response planning and drills to ensure preparedness across the organization.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to proactively enhance HSE programs.
- Bachelor s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar HSE role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal HSE regulations and standards.
- Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an office-based setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Certification in HSE or related field is a plus.
Desired Candidate Profile
