Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
  • Coordinate and deliver HSE training programs for employees to promote awareness and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and corrective actions for regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE best practices into daily operations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management and pollution prevention.
  • Prepare and submit required HSE documentation and reports to regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and drills to ensure preparedness across the organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks to proactively enhance HSE programs.
  • Bachelor s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a similar HSE role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal HSE regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an office-based setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Certification in HSE or related field is a plus.

Desired Candidate Profile
