Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
HSE SUPERVISOR - ENVIRONMENTAL - QATAR
Experience: 5 years in the same position
Qualification: NEBOSH certificate in Environmental Management or equivalent
Environmental Monitoring & Inspection
- Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and environmental monitoring activities.
- Manage waste handling, wastewater, emissions, and hazardous material compliance.
- Oversee sampling, measurement, and analysis of environmental parameters.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of environmental data, incidents, and compliance reports.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly environmental performance reports.
- Document non-compliance findings and corrective action plans.
Incident Management
- Lead or support investigations of environmental incidents or near-misses.
- Identify root causes and implement corrective & preventive actions.
- Coordinate emergency response drills related to environmental hazards.
Develop and implement environmental programs such as:
- Waste management
- Spill prevention
- Pollution control
- Recycling initiatives
- Environmental management systems (ISO 14001)
