Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)
  • Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.
  • organize OHS training of employees and executives.
  • Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g., not using PPE)
  • Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
  • Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
  • Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker s compensation claims.
  • Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management.
  • Investigation of injuries and work accidents and report them.
  • Responsible for documents and keeping HSE records.

Conduct daily, weekly and monthly inspection reports .

Desired Candidate Profile

  • From 3 to 5 years experience in the field of H&S.
  • In depth knowledge of legislation (e.g., OSHA/lifting/ firefighting /Risk assessment methodology) and procedures.
  • Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices.
  • Experience in writing reports for health and safety topics.
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics.
  • Certificate in occupational health and safety.
  • assist in the development of project specific HSE procedures.
  • Conduct HSE trainings and orientation to all new employees.

Ensure all worksites are HSE compliant with Company policies and safety standards.
