Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver HSE training programs including inductions, toolbox talks, and specialized safety courses.

  • Conduct ADNOC-required trainings such as H2S Awareness, Confined Space Work (CSW), Permit-to-Work (PTW), Risk Assessment (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Life Saving Rules (LSR).

  • Provide defensive driving, work-at-height, confined space, and emergency response training as required.

  • Assess and evaluate worker competency through tests, observations, and practical assessments.

  • Maintain accurate training records, matrices, and certification logs.

  • Coordinate with HSE team and management to identify training needs and gaps.

  • Support incident investigations by identifying training-related deficiencies.

  • Ensure all training materials comply with ADNOC standards and project requirements.

  • Conduct refresher training sessions and awareness campaigns.

  • Liaise with external training providers and certification bodies when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Minimum 6–10 years of experience in HSE roles, including 3+ years as an HSE Trainer in Oil & Gas projects.

  2. Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.

  3. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH (mandatory/preferred).

  4. Strong knowledge of ADNOC HSE standards, PTW systems, and risk management processes.

  5. Certified Train-the-Trainer / HSE Trainer certification (mandatory).

  6. ADNOC-approved trainer certification (if applicable) preferred.

  7. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
