HSEQ Superintendent UAE

Client of Spinnaker Global Limited

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSEQ Superintendent to join our client s growing marine operations team supporting a fleet of Offshore Support Vessels (OSVs). The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality compliance across fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the company s HSEQ Management System across assigned vessels.
• Conduct onboard inspections, audits, and safety assessments.
• Ensure compliance with:
  
  • ISM Code
  • ISO Standards
  • Flag State and Class requirements
  • Client and regulatory requirements
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Monitor corrective and preventive actions to closure.
• Prepare and maintain HSEQ reports, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Support vessel crews with HSEQ training and safety culture initiatives.
• Coordinate external audits and certification processes.
• Liaise with clients, auditors, and regulatory authorities when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an HSEQ Superintendent, Marine Superintendent, or similar role within the offshore/marine industry.
• Strong experience with Offshore Support Vessels (OSVs).
• Certified ISO Auditor qualification (ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 preferred).
• Thorough knowledge of:
  
  • ISM Code
  • ISPS
  • MLC
  • Maritime HSEQ regulations
• Experience conducting internal and external audits.
• Excellent reporting, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel offshore and internationally as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Marine or engineering background.
• NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualification.
• Lead Auditor certification is an advantage.
• Experience working with DP vessels is desirable.
