Roles & Responsibilities
Overview
We are seeking a Hub Operator – Dry Bulk to join our shipping team in Fujairah. This role is central to ensuring seamless service delivery across the Kanoo ports network, acting as the main point of contact for operational matters within the area of responsibility. You will play a vital role in managing and coordinating dry bulk hub operations, supporting our principals, and ensuring compliance with company standards, KPIs, and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee operational service delivery across regional port offices.
· Monitor operations to ensure quality service while optimizing cost.
· Coordinate with ports, terminals, surveyors, shippers, receivers, customs brokers, and local offices for timely arrangements.
· Ensure compliance with client-specific working instructions and Kanoo KPIs.
· Liaise with local offices for issuance of OBL, delivery orders, and documentation.
· Coordinate vessel husbandry activities, voyage requirements, and freight tax statements.
· Conduct quarterly performance reviews of offices against operational and documentation KPIs.
· For Saudi operations: manage port call creation in TABADUL, EDI submissions, pre-arrival notifications, clearance, cargo documentation, manifests, sailing messages, and customs processes.
· Ensure transparent, accurate communication with clients and stakeholders at all times.
Desired Candidate Profile
Ø 3 to 5 years of experience in dry cargo agency or hub operations, preferably within the GCC.
Ø Strong coordination, multitasking, and communication skills.
Ø Service-oriented mindset with the ability to meet and exceed client expectations.
Ø Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.
Ø Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in the maritime/shipping industry.
Ø Junior candidates with minimum dry bulk exposure are welcome to apply, as training and knowledge support will be provided.
