Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Create BIM models for HVAC systems (ductwork, piping, and equipment) from client-provided 2D drawings.
- Develop Revit Models Further from LOD 200 up to LOD 400 for HVAC systems.
- Create LOD 500 As-Built Models.
- Preparing and managing shop drawings, schedules, and quantities derived from BIM models.
- Form and Mentor Junior BIM HVAC Team according to company expansion plans.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers), SMACNA (Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association), and local codes.
Collaborate with Architectural, Structural, other MEP engineers, as well as other consultants to align and integrate models
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications Essential:
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Power Engineering.
- 3-5 Years of Experience.
- Experience in Shop Drawings Generated from Revit Models.
- Familiarity with HVAC codes and standards such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, as well as local and Gulf region regulations.
- Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks and Autocad software.
- Very good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Familiarity with Dynamo, Python, or other scripting tools for BIM automation.
- Knowledge of international BIM standards like ISO 19650 and BS1192.
- Familiarity with Scan to BIM workflows.
