1. Supervise Chiller System Installation: Oversee the installation of HVAC chiller systems, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and associated piping, ensuring alignment with project drawings and P&IDs.

2. Ensure Technical Compliance: Verify that chiller installations meet ASHRAE 90.1, AHRI 550/590, and Dubai Municipality standards for performance, energy efficiency, and safety.

3. Conduct System Testing: Perform hydrostatic, pneumatic, and performance tests on chillers and auxiliaries (e.g., condensers, evaporators) to ensure system integrity and compliance with DEWA requirements.

4. Verify Equipment Specifications: Ensure chiller components (e.g., compressors, refrigerants like R134a or R410A) and piping materials (e.g., carbon steel, copper) comply with project specifications and Dubai Green Building Regulations.

5. Coordinate with MEP Teams: Collaborate with electrical, plumbing, and BMS teams to integrate chiller systems with power supplies, water systems, and building management systems.

6. Ensure Regulatory Adherence: Secure approvals from DEWA, Dubai Municipality, and Civil Defence for chiller installations, ensuring compliance with fire safety and energy efficiency regulations.

7. Train and Supervise Laborers: Instruct technicians and laborers on chiller installation, refrigerant charging, valve fitting, and pump alignment, ensuring high-quality workmanship.

8. Resolve Technical Issues: Address complex issues such as chiller surging, low delta-T syndrome, or refrigerant leaks, coordinating with engineers for technical solutions.

9. Maintain Installation Records: Keep detailed logs of chiller installation progress, test results, and material usage for project documentation and audits.

10. Enforce Safety Protocols: Implement safety measures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), PPE usage, and safe refrigerant handling, per UAE Labour Law and Civil Defence standards.

11. Monitor Snagging Process: Identify and rectify defects during inspections, ensuring chiller systems meet consultant and client requirements before handover.

12. Support System Commissioning: Assist in commissioning chiller systems, including flow balancing, chiller sequencing, and performance optimization, using tools like flow meters and pressure gauges.

13. Manage Material Handling: Ensure proper storage and handling of chiller components and refrigerants to prevent damage or degradation, per manufacturer and environmental guidelines.

14. Liaise with Stakeholders: Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and inspectors (e.g., DEWA, Civil Defence) to facilitate approvals and project closeouts.
