Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed load calculations using software tools to determine heating and cooling requirements for diverse building types.
- Create innovative HVAC system designs that optimize energy efficiency while meeting client specifications and compliance standards.
- Develop comprehensive HVAC plans, including ductwork layouts and equipment selection, ensuring seamless installation processes.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineers to integrate HVAC solutions into overall building designs, enhancing aesthetics and functionality.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a focus on HVAC systems design.
- Professional certification such as LEED AP or ASHRAE certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC system design within commercial or industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations, ensuring compliance in all designs.
