Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create detailed HVAC system layouts using CAD software, ensuring compliance with local codes and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and contractors to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback into design revisions.
  • Perform load calculations and equipment selection to optimize system efficiency and performance.
  • Develop ductwork and piping schematics, meticulously detailing dimensions and specifications for installation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a related field is essential for understanding HVAC principles.
  • Proven experience of 3-5 years in HVAC drafting, showcasing a solid portfolio of completed projects.
  • Certification in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, demonstrating proficiency in creating technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of HVAC design software, such as HAP or Trane's TRACE, to enhance calculation accuracy.
