Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain HVAC systems across production, processing, and warehouse areas.
- Monitor and control temperature, airflow, and humidity to support product integrity and manufacturing efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental standards (including GMP and food safety requirements).
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and system diagnostics to reduce downtime and energy waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, maintenance, and production) to ensure environmental controls meet production demands and food safety requirements.
- Manage HVAC-related documentation, including technical drawings, maintenance logs, and performance reports.
- Support commissioning activities for HVAC systems in facility expansions or upgrades.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and energy efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 35 years of experience in HVAC engineering, preferably in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, operation, and controls, including cleanroom or controlled environments.
- Familiarity with standards such as ASHRAE, ISO, and local UAE regulations.
- Experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS) and energy efficiency practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and project management skills.
