ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer with a strong background in construction contracting to join our Mechanical department. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of HVAC systems design, project management, and client-consultant coordination, with the ability to lead projects from initiation through to successful handover.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1 HSE & QA/QC Compliance

Ensure health, safety & quality assurance standards are maintained across all HVAC works on site

2 Engineering Submissions & Approvals

Prepare, review, and follow up on engineering submissions for client consultant review and approval

3 HVAC System Design Knowledge

Apply hands-on design expertise in VRF, DX, Hi-wall, and CHWSR systems across projects

4 Cost Control & Supervision

Monitor project costs, conduct quality checks, and provide effective on-site supervision

5 Team Leadership

Form, mentor, and lead site engineering teams to achieve project targets

6 Project Management

Handle planning, scheduling, reporting, risk management, and multi-stakeholder coordination

7 Full Project Lifecycle Ownership

Initiate projects professionally and ensure a smooth and successful client handover

8 Material Knowledge

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of HVAC materials for correct selection and procurement

9 Client & Consultant Relations

Build strong relationships, manage expectations, and effectively negotiate with clients and consultants

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline

• Minimum 5–6 years of experience in an HVAC role within a construction contracting company

• Hands-on design experience with VRF, DX, Hi-wall, and CHWSR systems

• Proven track record of managing full project lifecycle from initiation to handover

• Strong working knowledge of HSE regulations and QA/QC procedures on construction sites

• Demonstrated experience preparing and following up engineering submittals with client consultants

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or equivalent engineering tools

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English; Arabic is an advantage

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
