Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The HVAC Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise, engineering support, and assurance for all HVAC-related scopes within major projects and brownfield modification works.

Ensures that HVAC design, implementation, testing, and commissioning comply with standards, international codes, HSE requirements, and project specifications.

The role supports the Lead Project Engineer / Project Manager in delivering HVAC project scopes safely, on schedule, and within approved cost, while ensuring high reliability, operability, and maintainability of the HVAC systems.

Review and validate HVAC engineering design deliverables including calculations, heat load analysis, layout drawings, equipment specifications, and sizing.

Ensure HVAC design compliance with OLNG Technical Control Plan, international codes

(ASHRAE, SMACNA, ISO), and project specifications.

Participate in technical clarifications, bid evaluations, and selection of HVAC contractors,

suppliers, and service providers.

Review vendor documents, datasheets, equipment selections, FAT procedures, and test

reports, ensuring conformity to project requirements.

Support preparation of the scope of work for ITT packages related to HVAC modifications, upgrades, or new installations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum 3 5 years of experience in HVAC design, engineering, or project execution

Preferably in oil & gas or heavy industrial facilities. (For OMANI Nationals ONLY)
