Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare design requests, design input documents, and design change notes for in-house and subcontracted design activities.
- Review design and development documents prepared internally, by subcontractors, or by clients prior to approval and construction release.
- Prepare design verification, input review, and output review documentation as required for projects.
- Perform HVAC and MEP calculations in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, consultants, and subcontractors on design and development matters.
- Maintain design and development document control sheets and ensure proper documentation management.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth coordination and timely project execution.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding technical requirements and design specifications.
- Ensure all HVAC designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
- Support troubleshooting and resolution of design-related issues during project execution.
- Ensure adherence to company quality and HSE standards throughout all engineering activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager or Head of Engineering.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Technical Qualification: Hands-on experience in HVAC and MEP systems design and engineering.
Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably 8 12 years in HVAC/MEP engineering within marine, oil & gas, industrial, or EPC projects.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, load calculations, ventilation systems, and MEP coordination.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D design software, HAP software, and MS Office.
Ability to review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with applicable international standards and engineering practices.
Fluency in English (mandatory).
