Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The HVAC Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving HVAC-related business opportunities, preparing accurate cost estimates, and managing the full tendering process. This role requires both technical and commercial skills to ensure competitive bids, client satisfaction, and successful project acquisition.

Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities for HVAC projects in the Qatari market.
Prepare HVAC system designs, cost estimates, BOQs, and technical/commercial proposals for tender submissions.
Manage the estimation and bidding process for HVAC works, ensuring compliance with project requirements and competitive pricing.
Collaborate with consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to obtain quotations and technical support.
Conduct site visits and assessments to support estimation and project proposals.
Deliver technical presentations and proposals to clients and consultants.
Support negotiations with clients and assist management in securing contracts.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in HVAC systems.
Build and maintain long-term client relationships to support repeat business.
Ensure all submissions align with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and local authority requirements.

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
Minimum 5 7 years of experience in HVAC sales, estimation, and bidding within the construction or MEP industry, preferably in Qatar or the GCC.
Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, selection, and installation practices.
Proven track record in preparing successful bids and winning HVAC projects.
Familiarity with Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS) and local authority approval processes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and estimation software/tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong client-facing skills with a results-driven approach.
Valid Qatar Driving License (preferred).
