HVAC Technician

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair all HVAC systems to ensure optimal guest comfort and efficient operation across guestrooms, public areas, kitchens, and back-of-house.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, diagnose, and repair split units, ducted units, package units, FCUs, AHUs, exhaust and fresh-air fans.
• Carry out PPM works on filters, belts, bearings, coils, drain pans and thermostats; update CMMS records.
• Check and record operating parameters such as pressures, temperatures, and amperage.
• Perform refrigerant leak detection, charging, evacuation, and brazing works in line with safety standards.
• Clean condenser and evaporator coils, flush drain lines, and ensure proper condensate drainage.
• Respond to breakdowns in guestrooms and operational areas within required timelines.
• Coordinate with Engineering and contractors on major repairs or system shutdowns.
• Follow HSE/PPE, lock-out/tag-out, and safe electrical practices at all times.
• Monitor spare parts and consumables and report requirements promptly.

Requirements

• 2+ years HVAC experience in hotels, facilities, or commercial buildings.
• Good knowledge of split, ducted, FCU, AHU, and ventilation systems.
• Hands-on skills in refrigerant charging, leak testing, brazing, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Able to use HVAC tools and instruments safely.
• Basic English for work orders and communication.
• Flexibility for shifts, emergency call-outs, weekends, and public holidays.
• Technical diploma or trade certificate in HVAC/Mechanical/Electrical is an advantage.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
