Job Title: HVAC Technician
Job Description:
The HVAC Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing central and split air conditioning units within the residential complex, ensuring efficient operation and residents' comfort.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Routine Maintenance
Inspect central and split air conditioning units according to a scheduled maintenance plan.
Clean filters, fans, and heat exchangers to improve operational efficiency.
Check and adjust refrigerant levels (Freon) and refill when necessary.
2. Repairs and Diagnostics
Identify electrical and mechanical faults and perform necessary repairs.
Repair or replace compressors, condensers, fans, and valves.
Address leaks or clogged drainage pipes.
3. Emergency Handling
Respond promptly to reported malfunctions and ensure quick repairs.
Provide temporary solutions when necessary to maintain cooling.
4. Documentation and Reporting
Record daily maintenance and repair work.
Submit periodic reports on the condition of air conditioning units and future maintenance needs.
5. Safety Compliance
Follow occupational safety procedures while performing tasks.
Ensure the use of appropriate tools and equipment for each maintenance operation.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Diploma or vocational training in refrigeration and air conditioning technology or equivalent.
At least 6 years of experience in maintaining and repairing central and split AC systems.
Knowledge of electrical control systems and air conditioning control panels.
Ability to read technical schematics and use maintenance manuals.
Strong technical skills in using maintenance and diagnostic tools.
Required Skills:
Ability to diagnose and efficiently repair faults.
Capability to work under pressure and respond quickly to emergencies.
Good communication skills to work within a maintenance team and coordinate with management and residents.
Working Hours:
Full-time, with possible shifts or emergency call-outs when needed.
