Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Join our dynamic team at the Nuclear Power Plant as an Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Technician during Refuelling Outages. You will play a key role in maintaining critical systems, ensuring accurate calibration, troubleshooting issues, and performing corrective and preventive maintenance. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the safe and efficient operation of one of the most advanced nuclear power plants, while adhering to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calibrate and Maintain Instruments: Perform calibration on transmitters, gauges, and other field instruments to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Identify and resolve issues with instruments, solenoids, switches, control valves, and sensors.
- Corrective & Preventive Maintenance: Conduct corrective maintenance activities and perform preventive maintenance to ensure all systems are operational and compliant.
- Component Replacement: Replace components such as switches, sensors, and positioners due to failures or degradation.
- Surveillance & Testing: Conduct periodic tests and surveillance tests as required to support plant maintenance and operations.
Key Qualifications:
- Technical Certification: Technician certificate or equivalent certification in Instrumentation and Control (I&C).
- Experience: Prior experience in calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of field instruments (e.g., transmitters, flow meters, control valves) in critical environments. Outage experience is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading I&C drawings, using hand tools, and maintaining instrument tubing, fittings, and connections.
- Safety Focused: Strong awareness of and adherence to nuclear safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Software Familiarity: Experience with MS Project or Primavera for project management.
