Roles & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, inquiry-based English instruction, fostering critical thinking, and supporting student development across the IB Middle Years and Diploma Programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a culturally rich region with a supportive international school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with the IB MYP and DP curriculum

  • Plan, assess, and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a diverse student body

  • Promote a student-centred, inquiry-led classroom environment

  • Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects

  • Participate in whole-school events, meetings, and professional development

Requirements:

  • Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent)

  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience within the IB MYP and/or DP curriculum

  • Strong understanding of IB philosophy and assessment practices

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
