Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L3 / Level 3 production support for IBM DataPower environments.
- Manage and support Multi-Protocol Gateway (MPGW), Web Service Proxy (WSP), and XML Firewall services.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement permanent fixes.
- Handle on-call support in a 24x7 rotational model.
- Work on service deployments, configuration changes, and patching activities.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to message transformation, routing, and security policies.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and network teams for issue resolution.
- Maintain high availability and performance tuning of DataPower appliances.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Participate in release management and change management processes.
Technical Skills Required:
Core DataPower Expertise:
- Strong experience in IBM DataPower Gateway administration and support.
- Hands-on with:
- MPGW (Multi-Protocol Gateway)
- Web Service Proxy (WSP)
- XML Firewall
Security & Authentication:
Experience with:
- AAA policies (Authentication, Authorization, Auditing)
- OAuth 2.0
- JWT (JSON Web Tokens)
- SAML
- mTLS (Mutual TLS)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Keystore / Truststore management
- SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management
Integration & Messaging:
- XML, XSLT, JSON, SOAP, REST APIs
- Web Services Security (WS-Security)
- API Gateway concepts
Production Support:
- Experience in:
- L3 / Level 3 support
- Incident, problem, and change management
- Tools like ServiceNow (or similar ticketing systems)
- Experience working in 24x7 / on-call environments
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with IBM API Connect or other API gateways
- Scripting knowledge (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript in DataPower context)
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Basic knowledge of networking (DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls)

- Onsite: Saudi Arabia (1 positions - longterm)
- Offshore: India Hyderabad / Pune (2-3 positions)
