Within the Core Infrastructure department, the center of expertise brings together experts responsible for the client's server infrastructure: Unix/Backup/Storage, Windows/Virtualization, IBM i, Scheduling, DBA, and IBM Z.

The IBM Z Expert, responsible for the quality of service of the RUN team, assists the Tech Lead in technology governance, operational management of managed services, project management, and maintaining the platform in operational condition.

Main Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Tech Lead as the design authority in dealing with the Digital Factories and the managed services provider (Kyndryl). Ensuring compliance with client standards and mainframe stability.
• Validate technical changes, manage the supplier relationship and simplify complex issues for management.
• To manage and coordinate transformation projects.
• Monitor CPU metrics to identify consumption anomalies and propose solutions.
• optimization.
• Monitoring of Rational Operational Conditioning (MCO)
• Managing the software and hardware lifecycle to anticipate obsolescence (objective: 100% of the fleet)
• support ).
• Supervise the operation of the managed service provider and orchestrate rigorous communication (notification, start/end of operation) with stakeholders.
• Incident Management (Incidentology)
• Analyze incidents (Production/Test) and lead the bi-monthly reviews of the Z expertise center.
• Guide the search for root causes and continuous improvement with the managed service provider.
• Co-manage the crisis cells with the Run Manager, with an objective of autonomy and proactivity.

Mainframe infrastructure . IBM zSeries servers , for example: Z16 (HMC, PR/SM, CF, ICF, zIIP, CBU...) DS8800 (FICON, CHPID, CTC...) VST7700, TS3500... The system and its subsystems in Sysplex. z/OS (HCD, GDPS, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, VTAM, TCP/IP, RACF...) RMF, TDS, WLM... DFSMS, HSM... CICS, CPSM, IBM Omegamon, DB2 in Data Sharing, Broadcom DBM, Infotel InfoLOAD. MQ in Shared Queue, CFT IWS, TSA ASM, Cobol. Knowledge of observability (e.g., Grafana) . Skills: - Ability to write clear and precise operational documentation. - Project management - Analytical skills to identify and correct malfunctions.
